Johnny Carson
Johnny Carson, the quintessential talk-show host, is a man with a deep distrust of the press. Every now and then, however, he was known to loosen up and give hungry reporters something to report.
That's what he did while visiting Harvard to receive an award. It was one of the rare times that Carson subjected himself to the sometimes inane questions of the press, and he maintained his cool demeanor throughout.
One desperate reporter asked, "What would you like to have inscribed on your tombstone?"
"I'll be right back," Carson answered.
